‘LIGHT SONG’ INDIA COUTURE 2026

Light Song continues the conversation that began with The Divine Androgyne. Where the previous collection explored the coexistence of masculine and feminine energies within the self, Light Song turns outward, towards the universe. It asks what happens when seemingly opposing forces are understood not through conflict, but through harmony.

In Indian philosophy, the Moon and the Sun are not rivals. They exist in quiet dialogue, each revealing something the other cannot. Reflection and radiance. Intuition and vitality. Stillness and movement. The collection draws from this relationship, imagining couture as a meeting place where dualities dissolve into balance.

The collection unfolds in three chapters. Lunar explores the poetry of reflection through fluid drapery, sculpted lace and surfaces that respond delicately to light. Solar moves towards radiance, drawing inspiration from Surya, the Hindu Sun deity, and the monumental architecture of the Konark Sun Temple, where time, light and form exist in perfect rhythm. Their meeting in Cosmic Union becomes a meditation on wholeness, where individuality gives way to connection and opposing energies become one.

Rather than pursuing silhouette alone, Light Song expands the language of the House through embroidery engineering and textile innovation. Custom-developed jacquard brocades, Molten Crystal embroidery, sculptural lace and thousands of individually hand-cut fabric petals transform light into material, allowing each garment to shift, glow and evolve with movement. Every surface becomes an extension of the philosophy itself.
